Splash theme a new free wordpress theme today, the theme based our theme Light Folio, we change the background image with multi color splash style and brickwall background. The theme has a unique, simple design that will perfectly fit for your personal blogs, portfolio, corporate and can be a perfect fit for a unique magazine-style-blog.

The theme is provided to user under the open source GPL License, you can use it for all your project or at least use it as a foundation for your next projects for free and without any restrictions. Please link to this article if you would like to spread the world.

What if I wanted to change the background image of this theme to more closely relate to my blog content but keep the color scheme of the theme?

  Em..I saw your site is about F1, if you want to change the background image :
  First, prepare a background image (image that you like) with the size of 1280×924 pixels, your image must have dark color (ex: F1 car with dark background) so in accordance with the color scheme of the theme.
  
  Second, give the name of your background image with : “bg-header.jpg” (without quotes)
  
  Then upload your image to folder “wp-content/themes/Splash/images”
  
  Refresh your site…ta da

    How exactly does the main slider work? I mean, it does not display the latest posts images. It’s not clicable either. Even if I paste the url of a file I want it to display, it does nothing. Moreover, the featured posts allso appear without pictures, neither the regular posts below the main theme… please help

    Hi, it turns out splash just didn’t like one particular directory on my server and refused to use images from there. After I changed it, the main slider works.
    
    If I may suggest something, would be really cool if the main slider was clickable. Anyway, I really enjoy your theme. Thank you!

Hello,
Thanks for this awesome theme, it’s really great.
How can I can I change the “Featured Post Images”? I modified the archive (wp-content/themes/Splash/images/image.jpg) but the same image appear in all the fields, I would like to have different images in each field.
How can I do that? Please help.
